Automatic Wrap-Around & Tray Packing Machine | DRON

DM Pack’s DRON is an advanced automatic wrap-around and tray-packing machine, designed to form and fill trays, wrap-around boxes, tray displays, and lidded boxes using flat cardboard blanks (flat boxes). It is a compact yet highly flexible solution, suitable for a wide range of products and various packaging configurations.

The machine features automatic adjustment of the cardboard box storage height, while format changes are carried out quickly and easily using a millimeter scale and adjustable knobs. It can be equipped with various loading and grouping systems, such as stackers, multipack formers, and diverters, depending on the product and the desired production capacity.

In the intermittent version, the cartons are opened using suction cups, and the grouped products are placed using pick-and-place or robotic systems; the flaps are then sealed using a hot-melt glue system. In the continuous version, the cardboard box is fed from a low magazine and automatically positioned beneath the multipack that has already been formed.

Its open and ergonomic cantilever design ensures easy access for cleaning and maintenance, while the swiveling touchscreen allows for operation from both sides of the machine.
