The FRM-980 series is available in four models: a horizontal model (FRM-980I), vertical model (FRM-980II), floor-standing model (FRM-980III), and floor-standing model with ventilation function (FRMQ-980III).

The FRMQ-980III heat-sealing machine can seal all types of heat-sealable materials; it features a constant temperature control system and a stepless speed-adjustable transmission mechanism. The machine uses a solid-ink coder to print color labels during the sealing process. The coder is capable of high-speed printing with instant drying and legible characters that have good adhesion properties.

The print wheel on the machine can be used for both R and T type layouts. For R-type layouts, the machine can print two lines in font size two (18PT) or three lines in font size five (10.5PT).
